Water vapor is lighter than air

Water vapor is lighter than air.

A molecule of H2O (water) has an atomic weight of 18. [2 hydrogen atoms @ 1 ] =2  [one oxygen @ 16]  2+16 =18. Air is composed of approximately 78% N2 nitrogen [2 bonded atoms of nitrogen @14] = 28 and 21% O2 oxygen [two 2 bonded atoms of oxygen @16] =32 Giving a combined atomic weight of approximately 29…..Air 29 – Water vapor 18.  Water and air DO NOT bond. Therefore Water vapor is lighter than air and rises.
